From
The Editor

Here we are
again. This issue some great stories to pass along once again. One we
have been waiting for for some time - Lil-Bit Ranch. The other two about
two local people one of which most of us know well and the other - an up
and coming young dressage rider.
Our next issue will
feature a story about a local Bed and Bale, an equine author from Guelph,
Ontario and much more.
Some of you may have
noticed an additional email from us this past week. We have added a
bi-weekly email promoting the classified ads offered on our website. This
is to give advertisers added exposure, as well as to grow the classifieds
section and help you find what you are looking for.
With every issue we
grow. I'm going to need staff soon!

Lil'
Bit Ranch

The longest
awaited story is finally here. Last Friday night I had the pleasure of
sorting at Lil-Bit Ranch in Ridgeway. What a unique experience I had. A
fun night, but much faster and livelier than I had anticipated. With a
regulation size sorting pen, the action is fast and furious.
Participants and spectators alike, had a great time. It was interesting
to see the participants, but even that much more interesting to see how
many spectators had come out to watch the action and visit with
friends.
Lil-Bit Ranch is owned and operated by Bruce and Robin Gullett at 3200
Bertie St., Ridgeway, ON 905-894-8077. A website is currently in
progress. Equine Niagara News will keep you informed of events in the
meantime. The stable boasts over 85 acres of prime land with a very
large outdoor sand ring (150 feet wide), a second ring being built,
miles of trails, an arena, boarding and more. Team roping and sorting
have started within the past few weeks. Read
story....
"I can tell you from years of boarding, this is the best place I
have ever been to, they know what they are doing and the Horses get
quality care.. It is a wonderful safe pleasant place for your Horse if
you can't have him at home !!!" says Sharon Blakely, a boarder
that moved her horse to Lil-Bit Ranch during the construction phase.

Profile: Breck
Foerstner
The
Man Behind HorseWorld Emporium

Born in Schlochau, East Germany (Now Poland) , Breck Foerstner has
dedicated his life the health and welfare of horses as well as other
animals. Over the years, he has lived and visited many parts of the
world, furthering his life experiences and making him the man he is
today. Receiving most of his riding and equine experience from
Excavalry officers and Marbach in South Germany (Germany's oldest stud
farm), as well as riding in Blackwell, Oklahoma and working a large
herd of cattle, Breck eventually came to Canada where he has worked
cattle, pig and turkey farms, and now a horse farm as well as his
