Great Day at Cedar Ridge Cup Show

It was a huge turnout for the third in series of five Niagara Cup Shows, this past weekend at Cedar Ridge Stables on Sixteen Road. The hot and humid weather did not deter the 150 horses and riders who competed over the course of the two day show. Cedar Ridge welcomed all "with bells on!"
The Niagara Cup Series is hosted by four stables in the Niagara Region - Red Ribbon, Camberwell, Cedar Ridge and Sherwood, dedicated to offering top notch hunter/equitation shows for local riders.
The fourth show, a combined effort of all four hosting stables, will be held at Camberwell Stables on Wessel Road on September 18/19. The series winds up with the Fall Finale to be held at Sherwood Farm on Oille Street on October 2 and 3.

Camberwell Host to Second Cup Show of 2010

Hot and humid weather could not deter the more than 125 horses, ponies and riders from taking part in the second show of the Niagara Cup Series. Held at Camberwell Stables on Wessel Road recently, the show was run like clockwork and participants were even able to get home on time for Sunday night dinner!

Niagara Cup Series Kicks Off on the Right Lead

The Niagara Cup Series kicked off on the right lead this past weekend at Red Ribbon Stables in Niagara-on-Lake. Hot and sunny weather guaranteed a terrific turnout of competitors from across the Niagara Region. From tiny youngsters in the Cross Rail Division...right to the pros in the Green and High/Low hunter divisions, the entries were high and the level of competition excellent.
As always, Leslie McCormick and Red Ribbon Stables set a fine example at this, the first in the series of five two-day shows. The second will be held at Camberwell Stables on Wessel Road on July 17 and18. Cedar Ridge will host the third in August and then back to Camberwell in September. The series will close with the Fall Finale to be held at Sherwood Farm on October 2 and 3. More information at www.niagaracupseries.com
