2009/2010 Christmas Photo Contest Winners

The votes are in and counted. Congratulations to the winners of the 2009/2010 Christmas photo contest. In first place was Stefanie K, second place Jenny V. and third place Robin C.
Stefanie's picture of her horse will be used next year for a Christmas Card design. Thank you also to Stefanie for donating her first place prize of a Solo Thinning Comb back to Equine Niagara News.

2009 Christmas Photo Contest

In the December 10th issue of Equine Niagara News, we announced the Christmas Photo Contest with very little detail - so here's the details....

Deadline: January 4th, 2009 at noon. extended from December 21st

Criteria: a photo of your horse, dressed for the season or in a holiday setting. Use your imagination. Existing photos may be used, they do not need to be current. No retouching or wording allowed, just the photo.

Eligible: Open to anyone that reads Equine Niagara News, except our immediate family.

How to Enter: Upload your on to our facebook fanpage with a note that is an entry for the contest or email your .jpg images to editor@equineniagaranews.com or they can be mailed to 2783 Oille St., St., Catharines, ON. Include your contact information.

Prizes:
1st Place: The winning photo will be used to make Christmas Cards for next year.You will have your name and details about your horse and the theme on the card. The cards will be sold with proceeds of the sales of the cards going to buy food for one of the food banks. (That will be decided next year).
You will also receive a Solo Mane Thinning Comb $50 value.

2nd Place: Wahl personal trimmer $40.00 value

3rd Place: 1 hour trail ride/or lesson for two.
